Welcome to the Light Side of Life—I’m Vered Back, keeper of botanicals, chaser of light, creator of beauty in two worlds that dance together like storm and calm.
For years, I’ve worked with my hands deep in herbs, flowers, oils and roots, crafting healing potions and organic skincare through Vered Organic Botanicals. I know the language of plants—their whispered promises, their ancient wisdom, their power to transform. I have long been captivated by capturing sky fragments between towering buildings in NYC, drawn to the incredible contrast of urban steel against infinite sky. When I relocated to Miami from NYC 4 years ago and faced that magnificent west front view, the sky began speaking to me in colors, shapes, and textures that I have never known existed.
Each evening became a pilgrimage. The heavens would crack open above the horizon, spilling fire and gold and shades of ethereal pastels in every color across the canvas of dusk. What started as wonder became obsession—I found myself racing against time and light, capturing these fleeting symphonies before they dissolved into night.
My photographs are born from this sacred dialogue between earth and sky. They are not mere landscapes but emotional territories—moody, vibrant, serenely soft, and electric with drama. Each image holds the heartbeat of a moment that will never come again: the last breath of storm clouds, the tender violence of sunset, the way light can make the ordinary world feel like a revelation.
Through Rose Sky Bound, I offer these fragments of sky-scripture—pieces of atmosphere that carry the same reverence I bring to my botanical work. Whether I’m infusing plant essences and working with essential oils, understanding their frequencies, or capturing light itself, I am always seeking that place where nature’s wild beauty meets the human soul.
In every frame, I hope you’ll find what I find: that moment when the sky reminds us we are small and infinite all at once, connected to something larger than ourselves, held by the same forces that move the clouds and grow the flowers.
